NEW SCHOLARSHIPS for 2009 – 2010

SIT offers a variety of scholarships. By completing the SIT financial aid application you will be considered for all of the available scholarships, including the following new scholarships offered beginning in September 2009.

Activism and Advocacy
For both seasoned professionals and recent graduates with a demonstrated commitment to activism and advocacy in student organizations, community action groups, advocacy campaigns and/or nonprofit organizations.

International Aid and Development
For students who have shown a commitment to working for social justice in their careers. Persons with significant work or volunteer experience in non-profit or non-governmental organizations, international organizations or intergovernmental organizations are particularly encouraged to apply.

SIT Study Abroad and Experiment in International Living Alumni
For alumni of World Learning’s SIT Study Abroad and Experiment in International Living programs. It recognizes the strong intercultural foundation that students have developed on these programs and will carry into graduate school.

Teaching Fellowship
Experienced English language teachers receive 50% tuition scholarship and 2-year teaching contract in Saudi Arabia. For SIT’s MAT program.
